There are two premier local surfing breaks within a short walking distance from the house. Banyan's is named for the two huge Banyan Trees that shade the open property adjacent to the surf-break.

Across the street is Banyan's market, a small convenience store perfect for picking up and after surf snack. Just further down the road is Lyman's. If the swell is right, Lyman's will break entirely across the bay in a majestic sight. Both breaks do not have facilities or lifeguards. They are also not suitable breaks for beginners.
